2023 - 2024 Take the UFO Challenge

Cathy Fennell is challenging members to complete their UFOs so all their projects will ready for our 2024 Quilt Show. Each participating member will list twelve of their incomplete projects by number and will be asked to complete a specific numbered project each month.

• In order to participate, see the July 2023 newsletter for more info about the form to complete and send to Cathy.


• The challenge began in August 2023 when Cathy drew a number and whatever UFO you had listed for that number was the one you worked on to show at the September meeting.


• See the current newsletter to see the challenge number for the next month. Please complete this UFO and bring it to the next meeting for Show & Tell.


• If you only attend the monthly meeting via Zoom, send a photo of your completed UFO to Cathy before the meeting.


• Prizes will be awarded to one person each month who has completed a UFO.

2022 Village Green Quilt Block of the Month

We made the Village Green Quilt pattern starting in January 2022. The pattern has five different blocks that are repeated. It lends itself to whatever color pallet you may desire. Consider different seasons of the year and possible changes or additions to the houses. Why not add a few applique animals? This project has endless possibilities.

2021 Projects Half Done Challenge

In 2021 there was a PHD (Projects Half Done) Challenge. Each participating member listed twelve of their incomplete projects by number and was asked to complete a specific numbered project each month.

2020 PhD (Projects Half Done) Challenge

In 2020 there were two projects-of-the-month finishing up in September and October:
the PhD Challenge and the Potholder of the Month Club.
